October Ipsy Glam Bag

Helllooooooo evvveryyoonneee (Ghost Voice)! God – I love October! Seeing as I am a makeup fanatic, Halloween is one of my favourite times to experiment and try crazy looks that I wouldn’t be able to get away with normally. However, this is not a Halloween post; This is an Ipsy post! YAY! I received my October Ipsy Bag last night and I didn’t sneak peak at all this month. I had no idea what I would be getting in this bag. It really is much more exciting that way. Interested in what I received this month? Keep reading ghoulfriends 😉

Here are the products and the bag that I received this month. I love the bag! So festive for October and Halloween!

Here is a close up of the 5 products I received this month – I will be going over them one by one starting from the top!

trestique Matte Lip Crayon in Belize Bordeaux
To be honest – I wasn’t too pumped about this product. I have received a trestique product that is VERY similar to this in a previous Ipsy Bag. I think the colour was almost the same too – This one is a bit more purple/burgundy and the previous one was firey red. I don’t want to bash it though. The colour is super pretty, and it swatched nicely on my hand. I just doubt that I will be wearing it a whole lot.

MeMeMe Blush Brush
If you have read any of my previous Ipsy posts, you will know that I love getting brushes and tools in my Ipsy bags! I honestly don’t think you can ever have enough brushes. And I never get tired of trying new ones. When I first pulled this out of the bag, I honestly had no idea what type of brush it was. It is so small and cute – It’s going to be perfect for my travel makeup bag. The bristles are super soft and synthetic. I have never heard of this brand before so I do not know anything about it, but so far so good based on this beauty brush!

Ciate London Fierce Flicks Eyeliner
This product is probably the most exciting for me! Just like brushes, I am always looking for a good eyeliner. They say that in order to create the perfect wing, you have to love your eyeliner .. And I am still looking for The One. I was recently contemplating purchasing the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner and lucky for me – That liner is very similar to this one. I have never used an eyeliner that is like a marker and I feel like maybe I will love it. I think this will help make my wing quick and easy and I cannot wait to test this one out!

The Balm Cabana Boy Shadow/Blush
This is another exciting product for me! I have not purchased anything from this brand and I have been wanting to for quite some time. The only downside is that it’s frigin expensive! So it’s real nice to be given samples to try before I spend a week’s salary on a highlight and an eyeshadow palette. I haven’t used this blush, but I did swatch it on my hand. The only thing I worry about is that this blush has a bit of sparkle in it. I tend to lean towards matte blushes because I have oily skin and I don’t want the extra shine/sparkle. But the colour is really pretty and I don’t want to judge it before I try it. Maybe I will really like the sparkle .. Who knows!

Pure Brazilian Leave In Miracle
Again, if you have read any of my previous Ipsy posts, you know how I feel about getting non-makeup products. However, I really don’t mind getting these leave in conditioners. I received one a few months back, and I used the entire bottle! My hair is so long and the ends need some support! These types of leave in conditioners are perfect for making my hair soft and silky, making it stronger so it doesn’t fall out when I brush it and helping keep the frizz under control. I am definitely going to be using this product (Even though my hair is only going to be long for another week!)

Okay guys – That’s it for this month’s Ipsy Bag. I love getting these bags in the mail every month! I think it’s a great way to discover new brands and new products that you might not have had the chance to! What did you get this month? Did you receive any of the same products? What do you guys think of them?

Thanks so much for reading guys! I am going to try to do some Halloween looks in the next couple posts so keep your eyes peeled for that! Chat soooooooon (Ghost voice)! Xoxox

    • I wish I could subscribe to Birchbox, but I don’t think they ship to Canada. It’s a shame. I see the videos people post of the products, and I always want them! Thanks so much for the love! Xox
